Description
This permit is valid exclusively for section SOČA LAKE near Most na Soči, which means the reservoir between the confluence of the Soča and the Tolminka, the confluence of the Idrijca and the Bača and to the dam at Podselo.
ATTENTION: Due to spawning, fishing is not allowed from the confluence of the Soča and Tolminka down to Vodivček bay (under the hatchery) and from the bridge to Postaja village and the confluence of Idrijca and Bača rivers from 1 March to 22 March and from 4 November to 30 November.
The only fishing method allowed is fly-fishing. Anglers can use any type of fly fishing line and leaders of no less than 0.10 mm, but no accessories that would change their primary buoyancy properties. Use of strike indicators and extra weights is not allowed. You are restricted to only one dry fly, nymph or streamer tied to a single barbless hook. A fishing net is mandatory. It is allowed to use Tenkara rod of up to 13’ in length. The permit allows you to keep three (3) rainbow trout. You are also allowed to keep up to five (5) cyprinids, but a maximum of five (5) fish altogether and only one (1) rainbow trout of 50 cm or more. You are not allowed to keep any grayling, marble trout or hybrid. A caught fish must be immediately marked with an X in the daily catch section on your permit. Once you have caught your third rainbow trout, fishing must be stopped. This permit only allows you to fish on the lake. Fishing from a boat is allowed on the lake, but you can only use electric motor for navigation, not while fishing.
With this fishing permit, a child of up to and including fifteen (15) years may fish with you. Once issued fishing permits cannot be exchanged and there is no refund. By purchasing a fishing permit you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the fishing rules. Fishing is at your own risk.
