Description
Fly-fishing waters of Tolmin Angling Club are shown on the map and divided into two fishing sections: Section 1 and Section Catch & Release. This permit is valid for Section Catch & Release. You are also allowed to fish in Section 1 with catch & release rules.
The only fishing method allowed is fly-fishing. Anglers can use any type of fly fishing line and leaders of no less than 0.10 mm. Extra weights are not allowed. Wool/yarn strike indicators are allowed with the Catch & Release permit. You are restricted to only one dry fly, nymph or streamer tied to a single barbless hook. Only dry fly-fishing is allowed on the Koritnica and Kneža rivers. A fishing net must be used on all rivers. It is allowed to use Tenkara rod of up to 13’ in length. This permit does not allow you to take any fish. The fish caught should be taken off the hook as soon as possible and released into the water immediately. With this fishing permit, a child aged up to and including fifteen (15) years may fish with you. Once issued fishing permits cannot be exchanged and there is no refund. Fishing sections are marked on the map. By purchasing a fishing permit you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the fishing rules. Fishing is at your own risk.
The fishing season lasts from 23 March to 3 Nov 2024.
On the Trebuščica the season ends on 20 October.
In section Lake, in the area between Vodivček bay (under the hatchery) and the bridge over the Idrijca towards the village of Postaja and to the dam at Podselo, the fishing season starts 1 March and ends on 30 November.
